01 · About Gysho's AI-powered applications
Gysho develops AI-powered applications designed to assist users by generating responses and insights based on available data and algorithms. This website does not currently host an AI assistant. Where Gysho's AI features are available within our applications, you will be clearly informed at the point of interaction that you are engaging with an AI system, not a human, in accordance with Article 50(1) of the EU AI Act.
Each Gysho application that interacts directly with users displays a disclosure at first interaction, with a direct link to this notice.
Scope of our AI features. Gysho's AI-powered applications generate and process text-based content. They do not deploy emotion recognition or biometric categorisation systems within the meaning of Article 50(3) of the EU AI Act, and they do not generate or manipulate image, audio or video content constituting a "deep fake" within the meaning of Article 50(4). If this changes, this notice will be updated before the relevant feature is made available.
02 · How our AI works, and its known limitations
Gysho's AI generates responses based on patterns in available data and algorithms. It does not think, reason, or verify facts the way a human does. Due to the current limitations of generative AI technology, our AI systems may occasionally produce information that is incorrect, misleading, incomplete, or out of date. This phenomenon, sometimes called "hallucination," is a known limitation of all advanced AI systems. AI-generated responses may sound authoritative while being inaccurate or incomplete.
02A · Labelling of AI-generated content
Content generated by Gysho's AI-powered applications is visibly labelled as AI-generated at the point of display, in accordance with Article 50 of the EU AI Act. Gysho is implementing machine-readable marking of AI-generated outputs so that such content remains detectable as artificially generated when viewed or shared outside our applications, in line with Article 50(2). As European standards and codes of practice for marking techniques are adopted, Gysho will align its labelling and marking measures with them.
03 · Do not rely solely on AI for critical or high-stakes decisions
Gysho's AI products are assistive tools, not substitutes for professional judgement. Always review important information with human expertise and consult original sources where possible. For legal, financial, medical, safety-related, or other mission-critical matters, consult a qualified professional. Where a Gysho feature references external data or web search results, review the original sources for full context and accuracy.
04 · Content published on this website
All editorial content published on this website, including blog posts, undergoes substantive human review before publication. Where AI tools have assisted in producing content that is published on matters of public interest, Gysho relies on the human-review and editorial-control exception in the second subparagraph of Article 50(4) of the EU AI Act: each published item identifies the natural or legal person holding editorial responsibility for it, and where no individual is named on an item, editorial responsibility rests with Gysho Limited.
05 · Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies. No analytics, advertising, or preference cookies are placed on your device, and we do not track your browsing across other websites.
06 · Feedback and support
If you encounter AI-generated content in any Gysho product that you believe is incorrect, misleading, or unhelpful, please contact us at alert@gysho.com or visit https://www.gysho.com/contact. Your feedback helps us improve the accuracy, safety, and reliability of our services. We aim to respond within 1 business day.
07 · Your rights
AI-related questions or complaints: You may contact us about our AI systems at any time via alert@gysho.com. If you are located in the EU and believe that a Gysho AI system infringes the EU AI Act, you also have the right under Article 85 of the EU AI Act to lodge a complaint with the market surveillance authority of the EU Member State in which you are located, or in which the AI system is made available or used. The market surveillance route concerns suspected infringements of the Regulation; for service quality or content concerns, please use alert@gysho.com in the first instance.
Privacy rights: If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you may contact us at alert@gysho.com. You also have the right to file a complaint with a data protection authority: the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ if you are in the United Kingdom, or your national data protection authority if you are in the EU. A list of EU authorities is available from the European Data Protection Board at https://www.edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en. The ICO is a data protection authority, not a market surveillance authority under the EU AI Act; the two complaint routes are separate.
08 · Privacy and data use
For details on how Gysho collects, uses, and protects your data, including your interactions with our AI, please see our Privacy Policy. Data protection law (the GDPR and the UK GDPR) applies separately from the EU AI Act.
09 · Accessibility and languages
This notice is provided in a clear, distinguishable, and accessible format, and is available in English and Dutch. If you need this notice in an alternative accessible format, contact alert@gysho.com.
10 · Our commitment
Gysho is committed to responsible AI adoption and continuous improvement. Our transparency measures follow the EU AI Act. For more information, contact us at alert@gysho.com or explore https://www.gysho.com.
